Loud With Quiet Spots
Carmel, IN 46032
Was very loud on lunch on a Tuesday. Mainly business people with loud discussions. They do have outside seating, but it was raining.

The tables inside are reasonably far apart. The outside seating is fabulous.

The main dining area and bar are very loud. Outside seating is extremely loud as it’s right on 116th Street where traffic is flying by at 50mph. There is a room to the right when you walk in that is tolerable, although they don’t seem to seat people in there unless it’s busy.

Lively bar & restaurant. Nothing soft in here at all to absorb the noise. Very difficult to hear people at my own table. Outside is your only hope.

Quite loud inside on a Saturday morning at 10am. The outside seating isn’t bad though.

The perimeter seating is best. The tables are big and there is a decent amount of space so it doesn’t feel like your neighbors are in your conversation.

Not bad on the far wall away from customer line and kitchen. If you can get a table towards the front away from the drink machines, even better.
I was here at off hours and was seated next to a loud family. The server very graciously offered me a table further away from them when I whispered to her that I was hard of hearing.

It can get very loud here when busy. Outside is your best bet. Team Trivia on Wednesdays at 7:30pm should be avoided at all costs, although last time I was there they had stopped playing music in-between questions. There is a table at the very back left, in front of the kids area, that is reasonably quiet, even when the restaurant is busy…so long as there are no kids playing in it!

Pretty loud. Try the high back tables on the side as at least the high backs block the noise from in front and behind. Try outside if it’s too loud inside.

Loud and lively dining room. Tile floor and unfinished ceiling. There is outdoor seating. It’s on the road but there is sidewalk and parked cars between you and the road.

This is one of the louder places and often has a band playing too. However, I noticed today that they have a sign in the entrance that says they can seat you in a quiet area. It appears that the quiet areas are the covered/heated patio, and the roof. Nice to see a restaurant caring about the hard of hearing.

Can get a bit loud if it’s crowded, all the way in the back was acceptable though.
Dull roar. Tables in the corners are best. Tables aren’t overly close.

About half full when I was here. Pretty loud. I could imagine it very loud with more people.

Was super busy when I was here and thus extremely loud. Some of the perimeter tables would be a good choice and I don’t think it would be so bad if it weren’t prime time on a Friday night.

Five PM reservation on a Sunday. Decided to sit at a high top table in the middle of the bar, as the bar was only about half full and seemed calm. Sound level during the hour I was there ranged from 69 to 83 decibels. Average was 74. There are several tv’s in the bar but none of them had the volume on. I found conversation to be very pleasant, generally. The tables are not overly close. I could hear conversations from tables around me, but nobody was talking overly loud. The ceiling has some baffling to it so as not to reflect noise directly back at you.

I’ve been here several times. I try to go when it’s not busy, as it can get REALLY loud. Some of the tables are very close together. You can almost feel like you’re sitting with the group next to you. If it’s busy, the bar is a good choice as it’s a little shielded from the main dining area. Outside is even better if the weather is co-operative. You can also get a to-go order and sit in the mall food court, which lacks ambiance, but is much easier on the ears. Sound levels in the restaurant when it’s busy have been as high as 84dB, with averages at 81dB – and that is in the bar – which is one of the quieter spots.

Was initially about to be seated next to a large noisy soccer team group. I mentioned to the host that I was hard of hearing and he graciously found us another table.

Have visited several times. If you can get one of the high top tables along the outside wall and the windows are open, the sound level is very acceptable. The road outside the window has stop signs close by and the cars are going very slow. We did have one guy go by on a Harley, but it was very brief. The front room to the left can get a bit noisy, so I’d stay out of there. Noise level was 72db in the back room on the left on a Monday night when it was almost full – not bad.

Pretty loud in the restaurant. The bar is a bit raucous. The perfect spot is on their windowed patio.

Really loud party inside, but outside was perfect.
Westfield, IN 46074
Very noisy inside. The noise seems to reflect off of the low natural wood ceiling. There is very pleasant outdoor seating, however.

Can get very loud. The music is not as loud at the back left of the restaurant. The booths at the far back left are your best bet. Occasionally downstairs has been quieter than upstairs, but I’ve also experienced the reverse. It’s worth investigating downstairs if it’s loud upstairs. There is also outside seating. It’s close to the street but traffic doesn’t get moving that fast so it’s not terrible.

I was here on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was full. I was surprised that it was not nearly as loud as I expected it to be. The restaurant is broken up in sections, so it may be possible to find a quieter spot if they happen to seat you next to a loud party.

This is a very loud sports bar atmosphere with both music and many TV’s on at the same time. Very difficult to hear. There is outside seating which is reasonably quiet.

We frequently visit. It’s almost always loud in the evenings. High ceilings and a tight space make for a challenging environment. There is outdoor seating, which tends to be fairly quiet, unless you go on a Wednesday night when they have live music outside.

Was surprisingly quiet during my visit. Mostly older couples. I could imagine it getting loud later in the evening. They have outdoor seating, so that’s an option if it’s too loud inside.
